I have worked in the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish community as a social worker and community educator and organizer, along with a private parenting counseling practice for over 35 years.
I am the author of Women and Jewish Law (Schocken, 1984) and several illustrated children’s books. I have two forthcoming books, Growing Up Below Sea Level (Mandel Vilar Publishing, April 2020) and What Now? 2-Minute Tips for Solving Common Parenting Challenges (Koehler Books, May 2020).
I am a calligrapher and illuminator of Ketubot - Jewish marriage contracts.
